  • Uploaded Documents: Owner packets, financial statements, and any additional context files you upload to the Service for analysis.

  • Communication Data: Emails forwarded to DoorBrief via the email context forwarding feature, and any correspondence you send to our support team.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and other technical identifiers collected automatically when you access the Service.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including analyzing your uploaded documents and generating financial summaries and emails.

We use Supabase as our primary data infrastructure provider, which employs robust security measures including row-level security, encrypted backups, and SOC 2 Type II compliance. Access to your data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems on a need-to-know basis. We implement regular security audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain the integrity of our systems.

5. Third-Party Services

We share data with the following third-party service providers, solely for the purpose of operating the Service:

  • Supabase: Used for database hosting, authentication, and file storage. Supabase processes and stores your account information, uploaded documents, and generated content.
  • xAI (Grok): Used for AI-powered document analysis and content generation. Uploaded document content is sent to xAI’s Grok API for processing. xAI does not retain your data after processing and does not use it for model training.
  • Payment Processors: We use third-party payment processors to handle billing. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information and uploaded data for as long as your account is active and as necessary to provide the Service. Uploaded owner packets and generated summaries are retained to enable month-over-month comparison and historical analysis. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data and uploaded documents within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention or dispute resolution.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
